Have you been to a “Living with Loss” retreat?

If you’ve got one of these cups – or a similar one – this post is for you

If you’ve been to one of our retreats – or if you know someone who has – this is a reminder that there are just a few more weeks to decide if you’d like to join us for the next retreat: “Living with Loss Part 2 – the The Journey Continues”

It will take place 22-25 May, numbers permitting, at the peaceful “House of the Open Door” in the Cotswolds. Hopefully the weather by then will be improved and we’ll be able to enjoy a nice walk or two together.

We will have a flexible programme, based on the comments received before and during the retreat.

Possible topics could include:

  • The more difficult aspects of loss: Anger, guilt, regret and jealousy.
  • The journey onwards – progressing with life in your present circumstances
  • Embracing the new – relationships, activities.
  • Dealing with loneliness.
  • Finding God in the darker places
  • Starting your own local support group

There will be times of reflection and discussion, alongside devotional listening, prayer, music and craft work.

This event is meant for those who have already been to a “Living with Loss” retreat, but I am also open to special requests.

I have to put in our reservations by early March, so if you have been thinking about attending but haven’t decided yet, please do get in touch with me before the end of February.

(The cost is £250, or £220 if you’re willing to share a room with someone else.)

Hope to hear from some of you soon!
